A "Family" calendar is not the aforementioned equally the Calendar used in each 365 Family installation it is a dissever Calendar

I realize that. Each member of our family has their ain personal calendar and has admission to the family calendar grouping. They are split up calendars. Nevertheless, something recently happened where access to the family unit calendar group has changed. It tin can no longer exist accessed via iCal only personal calendar however can. As well, Outlook for Mac does not allow access to the family calendar group.

I as well have just noticed this change.
As a family we apply the calendar for (family) events such as group events and son's sports fixtures.
The calendar has gone from the calendar app in windows ten too as traditional Outlook 365 plus from all of our phones.
Upon further investigation using the online version of the calendar reveals that it is yet nowadays online and the appointments are not lost but this is non syncing beyond to any other device which does return it pretty pointless sadly every bit information technology was a really useful tool.
Anyone had whatsoever success sorting the issue or is it only a modify that may right itself at a later stage?

It reappeared on my Android phone's Outlook app, just instead of Family Agenda information technology is chosen "Your family unit". But all the appointments are there. (Ironically, it'south the only agenda with no gear icon, which ways you can't alter the colour... lightheaded complaint, I know, but when you lot've been using it for literally years you are only used to family unit events being a certain color, personal calendar items another, and work calendar items another.)
Nevertheless does not show up on my Windows ten calendar app. That'southward a trouble as the phone app doesn't have the total suite of options with regard to repeating events.

Merely noticed that it shows up in the iPhone outlook app as well.
That is okay for me simply my wife uses the Outlook app for a piece of work email merely then looks at the calendar app (and uses it to add entries) on her iPhone.
Cannot get it to prove upwardly on the windows 10 agenda or on Outlook 365 on the desktop.

Same here. Today it disappeared from my Outlook Desktop app.
Appears again in Outlook Online and Outlook for IOS, simply and the proper name changed to Your family and I cannot get it back in Outlook Desktop app. And indeed the colour cannot be changed, which is a pity.
I recall MS inverse it to the new Groups functionality, but did not accept current users/usage into account. Two major flaws if you inquire me… Thanks Microsoft! (not….)

Seems Microsoft change the Family calendar to a new feature called 'Your Family' group. Unfortunately this removed to agenda from iOS mail service app. Now we can only see them using the web app. Unforeseen consequence? Will information technology be fixed soon, where imap exchange gets access to this new grouping, or will I have to manually move all of my family unit events to the iOS family unit calendar. I prefer the previous method since I could see the event on my Windows Calendar devices. I hate installing third political party apps for mail and calendar.

I concluded up calculation a new shared calendar and copying over the events to keep it available in native agenda apps.

Further exploration looks similar Microsoft intends to covert the family calendar into something like a coming together invite/response thing. That's fine, but they should take kickoff anew and converted the current family shared agenda to a standard shared calendar. All of the current entries on the calendar are not going to ship out the requests for family to accept or refuse the event.
Likewise, I am certain many of the electric current users of the Family Agenda do not want members to decline the entries placed on this shared calendar anyways.
MS should copy all of the existing events to a new shared agenda using the permissions from the family unit and going forwards users may cull to use the new invite/response group if they cull.

I concluded upward adding a new shared calendar and copying over the events to proceed information technology available in native calendar apps.
I am going to do that besides. Did y'all find an easy way to re-create the events. I noticed I cannot simply just change the calendar it is saved too. The method I used so far was to duplicated it, remove the invites and modify the calendar saved too. More piece of work the simply dragging from one calendar to another.
